Mentor Italia Srl (MI)

Mentor Italy SrL (created in 1994 with the sponsorship of Mentor Graphics Corp.) develops and sells software tools for electronic CAD and for embedded applications. It operates in Italy, Greece, Turkey, Slovenia and Croatia. It supports customers both in the design phase and through methodological training, offering training courses tailored to customers' requirements and providing full support for the offered software tools.
Research and developments are seen as essential factors for the growth of the company; for this reason, Mentor Italy actively collaborates with Universities and research centres and participates in EU research programs.
Tools offered by Mentor Italy support all phases of design (system-level design, ASIC, FPGA and CPLD design, testing of digital circuits, unified mixed-signal simulation, up to design of real-time software for embedded systems and workflow management environments). Services offered to its customers include consulting on specific design aspects and problems, training, software development and technical assistance.

CVs of key persons
Tiziano Besana is presently the General Manager of Mentor Italia SrL. He received his degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano; after an experience as designer of electronic circuits, he became involved in the commercialisation of products with high technological content, first with Intel and then with the Italian sector of Mentor Graphics, where he had increasingly higher responsibilities. Since May 1994 he is General Manager of Mentor Italy SrL, an Italian company offering products and professional services for electronic design in the areas of telecommunications, computers, aerospace, automitive electronics, and semiconductors.
