Intel Performance Learning Solutions Limited (IPLS)

For three decades, Intel Corporation has developed technology enabling the computer and Internet revolution that has changed the world. Founded in 1968 to build semiconductor memory products, Intel introduced the world's first microprocessor in 1971. Intel's mission is to be the pre-eminent building block supplier to the worldwide Internet economy. Ireland is Intel's centre of manufacturing excellence in Europe and Intel Performance Learning Solutions (IPLS) is a Irish registered subsidiary of Intel Ireland Limited. IPLS has agreed to subcontract 100% of the work to Intel Ireland Limited. Intel Ireland is a major source for the manufacture of Intel's leading microprocessors. Intel Ireland also hosts a Corporate Information Technology group developing advanced peer-to-peer computing solutions for eLearning and other applications. INTEL Ireland will support Intel Performance Learning Solutions Limited in the ANTITESYS project. www.intel.com

CVs of key persons
Martin Curley is currently Director of IT People, Intellectual Capital and Solutions at Intel based in Ireland, leading a team developing advanced eBusiness and People solutions and practices. Previously Martin held a number of IT Management positions for Intel, including Director of IT Strategy and Technology based in Sacramento, California and Fab14 Automation Manager based in Dublin, Ireland. Martin has also held engineering and management positions with Philips in the Netherlands and General Electric in Ireland. Martin has a degree in Electronic Engineering and a Masters in Business Studies from University College Dublin. His main research interest is in the area of IT Business Value, leveraging information technology to help deliver on corporate objectives. Martin represents Intel on the Careerspace Consortium Steering Committee, whose objective is to close the European ICT skills gap.
