Description of work The objective of this work package is the administrative (Politecnico di Milano) and technical co-ordination (University of Lugano) of the project. The separation between administrative and technical co-ordination is due to the participation rules, which do not allow Swiss partners to take the administrative co-ordination of a European project.

The Administrative Coordinator (Politecnico di Milano) will communicate statements every 6-month period, planning also the review meetings following EC guidelines.

The Technical Coordinator (ALaRI) will appoint a technical Project Manager for the entire projectís duration. The Project Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of all work packages according to the Technical Annex and the delivery of results on time. The consortium will identify specific work package leaders who will monitor the progress of their tasks, take the appropriate measures of corrective nature wherever necessary and react to changes. Meetings will be organised between the work package leaders and the Program Manager to monitor the progress of the project, to identify bottlenecks and suggest solutions, to facilitate the dissemination of information both internal and external to the consortium and also to discuss exploitation plans.

The Program Manager will report to the project's scientific board and, for general issues on the organisation and functioning of the project, to the project's steering committee (see section 9.9 Project Management, for more details on the management structure of the consortium).
